 Recommend OTC artificial tears: Patient understands that consistency of dosing and compliance with drops are important to maintain stability of condition and minimize symptoms. Consider prescription rx if minimal to no improvement occurs in signs & symptoms.

Pt has option of doing clip on vs. making glasses that are purple in  color  - cost is similar but pt may want to do clip on instead since they may not want purple looking glasses to wear full time. cost ranges from $200 to $300 - similar cost for the clip and the glasses.
