Edu on condition & findings. Edu on importance of monitoring. Unable to assess ocular health (anterior & posterior seg) in office today due to very poor pt cooperation. Edu to follow up with pediatric ophthalmologist for anterior & posterior seg evaluation to assess comprehensive ocular health. Edu to follow up with specialist for amblyopia evaluation as well. Provided parent/guardian with contact information to specialist via email & also provided in person. Edu on importance of following up with specialist to ensure ocular health is WNL. Patient/parent/guardian understood all instructions provided today and importance of following up with specialist.

Edu pt/parent/guardian on all of the above information.

Pt has option of doing clip on vs. making glasses that are purple in  color  - cost is similar but pt may want to do clip on instead since they may not want purple looking glasses to wear full time. cost ranges from $200 to $300 - similar cost for the clip and the glasses.   Laboratory testing may be directed toward identifying blood dyscrasias, clotting disorders and other hematological abnormalities.
